Ruffles!

Ruffles

Recently I've been in LOVE with ruffles! Ruffles seem to be everywhere at the moment! My most recent ruffled wardrobe editions are actually both from Zara! You can never go wrong with Zara! The first is this lovely frilled pastel pink coloured dress which has a ruffled detailing down the front of the dress. It's a super comfortable loose fitting dress which has just the perfect amount of ruffling to make the dress pop! It's a great find for Spring and as Florida winter is basically summer, I know I'll get a lot of wear out of it. I've paired it with my standard white Zara heels which basically match anything.
They're from last years collection but are probably my most worn shoes! They never fail me!!!!!

Next up is this gorgeous pair of white ruffled trousers. I must admit when I first wore them, I wasn't absolutely taken with them. However when I styled them and tried to find the right pieces to match them, I began to fall in love with them! The flare and the ruffled detailing on the legs really are very unique. I found pairing them with a high heeled ankle boot was the best option! Matching it with a black top, also was the perfect choice. These booties are from Nine West and the top is from River Island. Black and white will always be my favourite power combination!

In the second shot, I've paired them with my favourite white Zara shoes! See they really do match everything!

Summer Dresses

Summer Dresses

As it was the first day of summer yesterday, I thought I would share with you a few of my favourite summer dresses. Whilst the weather might actually be stopping you from wearing these in the UK at the moment, they're perfect for those freak summer days or even holidays which you may have planned.

Topshop Palm Print Slip dress

This Topshop Palm Print Slip Dress is one of my absolute favourites. I am totally palm tree obsessed so this dress without a doubt would end up in my wardrobe! It's a super comfy and summery dress and looks great with either sandals, wedges or heels.

Another summer dress love is this one from River Island. It's a red floral bardot dress which is so easy and breezy for beaching around. It's a great day dress for sightseeing and the floral print just screams summer.

Lastly is this super fun embroidered dress from Zara.  It's so cute and adorable. So perfect for a holiday or a day at the beach. I've paired it with heels here but it definitely can be worn with flip flops!

All these summer dresses have me missing the sun! Can it just be super sunny already!

Summer Essentials

Summer Essentials

Summer is well and truly on the way. I've recently been to Dubai and the 100ยบ temperatures really ignited those summer vibes!

So I thought it was the perfect time to share a few summer essentials.

I've been loving off the shoulder dresses. Especially ones in denim! They're so easy and light to wear and extremely versatile too. Perfect for those strolls on the beach or a browse around the shops.

These are my two favourite denim dresses.

The top two are the same ZARA denim dress.

This darker denim bardot dress is from Warehouse.

I've also been loving these slogan sun hats. Protecting yourself from the sun with a large floppy hat is a must. This hat reads "Come Sail Away". It's super comfy and floppy and great to hide yourself from the world whilst you just relax underneath it!

ZARA Forget Me Not Fragrance

ZARA Forget Me Not Fragrance

My obsession with Zara isn't just limited to their clothes and their shoes. I recently picked up a new perfume from there called 'Forget Me Not'. The bottle is this beautiful pale blue shade and the pastel shade totally screams Spring.

ZARA Forget Me Not Fragrance

This particular scent is such a gem. If anything it reminds me of the Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue. Except this is a fraction of a price at £7.99. It's fresh and light with floral, fruity, and musk tones. I always love Zara's fragrances, I think their quality is exceptional and this scent is so perfect for the spring and summer season.

Have you tried this fragrance/ have a favourite fragrance from Zara?

Summer Outfit

Summer Outfit

River Island Yellow Skirt

River Island Yellow Skirt

I've been loving getting my summer wardrobe ready and nothing says summer like a bright yellow skirt. It's definitely sunshine in a skirt! This skirt is from River Island and I'm absolutely in love with it. As you can see it's a midi wrap skirt which is so light, easy and breezy to wear. I love the way it hangs and feels so perfect to wear especially on those summer evenings. Florida has already hit 90 degrees this year so no doubt I'll be getting a lot of use from this! It really is that pop of colour which you want to infuse into your summer outfits without going too overboard. In this shot I've paired it with this black pleated top from Zara. This top literally goes with any outfit, in fact I even have a similar one in white because they're those wardrobe staples which you just need!

The shoes are also from Zara, they're super comfortable and I could totally wear them all day long. Being white they literally go with any outfit too!

Black Shoes Haul!

Good Day Buttercups!

Now I'm sure you've all heard that saying about waiting for a bus and then two come along at once! Well I'm pretty sure that applies to black shoes too! When I find a pair of comfy black shoes I pretty much wear them to death and then when we're forced to part ways the conquest to find a new pair begins!
I have teeny tiny feet and little heels which means I walk out of soooo many shoes! So finding that perfect black shoe can prove quite troublesome!

Or another difficulty I have is that when I finally find a shoe which fits they haven't got it in my size in black!
So the black shoe saga continues until I find that perfect pair. Would you imagine my surprise when I actually came across TWO pairs of black shoes, which 1. I liked and 2. that fitted.
It was like a black shoe dream come true. So in true shopaholic style, both came home with me!

And I think they were bargains! Actually they WERE bargains!

Shoes Number One:

My ZARA babies! Now these are deceivingly comfy and soft, there's a lot of cushioning in there to keep your little tootsies all padded. At only €22.95 they are such great quality!

Shoe Number Two:

These are the ultimate bargain at £14! They're from George at Asda. Now I don't normally venture to Asda but I've seen some bargains milling about, so I picked these up and a clothing item. Let me just say they are on the ball right now, so I'll definitely be popping back for some more bargains!

The shoes in action:

Top: Asda
Bottom: ZARA

Hope you enjoyed my first shoe post ever and please let me know your shoe hearts!
