Ruffles!

Ruffles

Recently I've been in LOVE with ruffles! Ruffles seem to be everywhere at the moment! My most recent ruffled wardrobe editions are actually both from Zara! You can never go wrong with Zara! The first is this lovely frilled pastel pink coloured dress which has a ruffled detailing down the front of the dress. It's a super comfortable loose fitting dress which has just the perfect amount of ruffling to make the dress pop! It's a great find for Spring and as Florida winter is basically summer, I know I'll get a lot of wear out of it. I've paired it with my standard white Zara heels which basically match anything.
They're from last years collection but are probably my most worn shoes! They never fail me!!!!!

Next up is this gorgeous pair of white ruffled trousers. I must admit when I first wore them, I wasn't absolutely taken with them. However when I styled them and tried to find the right pieces to match them, I began to fall in love with them! The flare and the ruffled detailing on the legs really are very unique. I found pairing them with a high heeled ankle boot was the best option! Matching it with a black top, also was the perfect choice. These booties are from Nine West and the top is from River Island. Black and white will always be my favourite power combination!

In the second shot, I've paired them with my favourite white Zara shoes! See they really do match everything!

Winter Dresses

Winter Dresses

So it's been quite some time since I wrote a post. Life has been pretty crazy and full of non-stop travelling.

Winter in Florida is pretty different to the winters I used to experience back in London. Therefore the items I now pick for my winter wardrobe are entirely different to those I used to pick!

I thought I'd share with you two of my favourite dresses which I'm loving at the moment. They're definitely a lot more sun friendly though as bare legs are the way to go out here!

This first one is this missguided tuxedo dress, it's one of my most favourite purchases. Of course I like to wear it for a night out or a lovely meal out. I love to pair it with some over the knee boots. My favourite pair of the season are some black ones from River Island, which have a lovely lace tie to tighten them! I've worn these boots in many looks on my instagram! This tuxedo dress is super comfortable but adds that little perfect edgy military look to your outfit! I think it's perfect for any season.

Another dress which I'm loving is this River Island Black Bodycon Umbrella sleeve dress. Black and white are my absolute favourite colours so this dress is just perfection! It's a tight fitting black bodycon dress but it has some absolutely phenomenal sleeves. They're almost flute shaped and are edged in white. The sleeves definitely do the talking! I pair this dress with my favourite black and nude Valentinos! They literally match everything!

Let me know if you have any favourite dresses at the moment! I have lots of dress wearing events coming up, so I'm always on the look out for more!

Leopard Print Skirts

Leopard Print Skirts

Lately I've been obsessed with prints. One of my most recent obsessions is leopard print! There's something fun and feisty about leopard print clothing. On my numerous shopping trips I keep on spotting leopard print clothing everywhere. From fluffy cosy coats to short shorts, leopard print is literally everywhere!

So I decided to make a few purchases of the leopard print kind! However they seem to be similar as these ones are both leopard print skirts. I've paired these skirts pretty similarly with the same jumper.

Leopard Print Skirt

So here's the first one. This is a lighter shade of brown and is from Topshop. It has a fake kind of belt detailing on the skirt and it's just seriously so comfy to wear. I love the brownish colour of this skirt and the way the print really stands out.

Leopard Print Skirt

The next one has a fur kind of texture to it, this is from Miss Selfridge and is a little shorter. This kind of leopard print is a little bit more sophisticated due to its darker tones, so if you're looking for that tiny bit of edge this is the kind of leopard print for you!

Both skirts have been paired with my black jumper from H&M and the first skirt has been paired with my favourite over the knee boots of the season from River Island. Literally these over the knee boots are so perfect, I want to wear them 24/7.

Let me know which skirt you prefer and if you have any more leopard print recommendations let me know! Because I'm literally obsessed.

Over the Knee Boots

Over the Knee Boots

Over the knee boots are huge this year and I am so happy about this because I totally love wearing them and styling them to make so many different outfits perfect for fall. Over the knee boots can really take a plain outfit and add that extra something to it.

I recently bought these over the knee boots from River Island. I am so obsessed with them and they are seriously comfy. I always have a problem buying over the knee boots because they are usually too baggy on my thighs. However this pair is perfect as they can be pulled in using the ties. So I highly recommend them if you have the same problem.

Here I have styled the boots with a cape I bought last year as well as a black top and black skirt from Zara.

This beautiful bag is from Coach. It is part of their new fall collection and the embellishment on it is so beautiful.

Capes and boots are so perfect for staying warm and cosy for this time of year.

I've also teamed my over the knee boots with some tights here. Another black and white outfit!

Are you wearing over the knee boots this season?
