Yankee Candles: Irish Cream
Hello Lovelies!
Recently I found myself sniffing away at a large selection of candles in the Yankee candle store. It's one of those stores where you just can't resist picking up candle after candle and smelling their lovely scents. It's also that kind of store where you just want to own every single one of those yankee candles (maybe one day!) But for now, I'm quite content with this yankee candle in the flavour Irish Cream!
It's such a different flavour candle. It's buttery, sweet and has the most beautiful vanilla notes. I don't know how Yankee do it, but it most definitely is Irish Cream in a jar. Just like any other Yankee candle, once lit, it really does work its magic. Your whole room is left smelling like a creamy, swirly caramel heaven!
Whilst this candle is sweet, the price I paid for it is even sweeter. Of course yankee candles are worth their price tag but when this big jar totalled only $7! well I actually bought two! I can never resist a steal like this!
If you're ever after a sweet treat in the form of a candle, be sure to hunt down the Irish Cream yankee candle, it sure is a beauty!

I thought I'd share with you something which I just can't get through the week without!
Candles! The sweeter the better!
Lately I've been discovering so many new flavour candles and it's just amazing. They literally are making my house smell so yummy that it could definitely be called 'candle heaven'.
So here are three of my latest obsessions.
Marshmallow Chicks:
Of course this is Peeps related! Yankee have released this scent just in time for Easter! Now this smells super sweet and scrummy just like the real life Peeps marshmallows. I love the design on this candle too, it's seriously cute. This definitely wins the cutest candle competition in my eyes!
Cinnamon Sugared Doughnut:
This candle has made a reappearance in the Bath and Bodyworks store. I have to thank them for this candle big time because it literally makes your home smell just like a Krispy Kreme factory. Doughnut o'clock every hour!
Cotton Candy:
I already mentioned this in a previous post but everything from its colour to the gorgeous cotton candy scent it gives off just makes me so happy. It's a subtle sweet scent which filters through your rooms gently. If you love candy floss, you'll love this.

I've recently got the new Yankee Jelly Beans candle which I can't wait to burn too! Sweeties and candles are such a perfect combination!

Hello Lovelies!
It's been such a manic week for me. I had to go back to London for 4 days and had a quick visit to New York on my way back. I'm pretty sleep deprived right now but it was all worth it!
I thought I'd share with you some things which I've been loving this week!
Top Left: This was a cupcake and cake tower at the party I went back to London for. The top cake was a Neapolitan cake and the cupcakes and mini cupcakes were all different flavours. It took me quite a long time to assemble this tower as my inner colour coordinator made an appearance! They were all from Crumbs and Doilies and I would really recommend them if you're ever after a yummy spectacular cake like this.
Top Right: Balloons! Balloons always put a smile on my face, we released pink, silver and white balloons to the ceiling over the dance floor. I think they look pretty magical!
Bottom Left: I'm always after a different mascara even though I have plenty. My eyelashes are pretty long, so trying to find one that doesn't clump or smudge is a bit tricky. However with this Lancome one it all seems to be going ok so far!
Bottom Right: I couldn't believe it when i saw this Cotton Candy Yankee Candle. It smells so so good! It's sweet and yummy. It makes my house smell like a candy floss machine! Yum!

Happy December Lovelies!
So it may be the final month of the year but it's the first day where we get to open some very special doors. I think I shall attempt #Blogmas this year, so here comes the first day of quite some challenge!
I'm sure today we'll be inundated with christmas snaps, messages and just good old festive fun! So adding to that, I thought I'd share with you my very exciting advent calendar, I'm always on the search for trying alternative things and a few years ago I picked up the Ciate advent calendar. As much as I loved it, there were so many polishes which remained unused and dare I say it but unopened! But I know this year that every door on my advent calendar will get used because it's so dreamy!
It's the yankee candle advent calendar and as I'm obsessed with these bad boys and I'm always burning a yankee candle, I'm 100% sure that the candle of the day will be burnt before it's time to open the next door!
I cannot wait to rip open the doors and smell the goodness inside! The calendar contains 6 different candles including Snowflake Cookie, Icicles, Angels Wings, Cranberry Ice, Christmas Cookie and Christmas Garland.
I'm hoping Christmas cookie will be the first one to appear, I love the sweet scented candles so it would be the perfect scent to kick off Christmas.
And as a little treat I've decided to open the first door to share as it's definitely a great way to start the day. Today's little candle treat is Angel Wings. Even though I haven't burnt it yet, the scent is starting to spread! Heavenly!
