Sephora Masks

Sephora Masks

Sephora Masks

Sometimes we all need one of those at home pamper days. On a recent trip to Sephora I picked up two products. A honey eye mask and a lavender foot mask. Both of these are from Sephora's own line and are such a bargain price for that perfect tlc at home.

Sephora eye mask

First up is the honey eye mask. This comes in a bright orange/yellow pack and this one specifically focusses on nourishing and balancing. It consists of two patches and you apply one under each eye. You leave them on for 15 minutes and then remove the excess. The result is that my eye area feels smoother and more nourished. Not bad for only $5.

Sephora foot mask

Secondly this is quite possibly my favourite foot mask ever. This is the Sephora collection lavender foot mask.  This particular foot mask is for refreshing and relaxing, and it definitely does just that. The heat and humidity really takes its toll on my feet and sometimes they end up swelling especially after a hard day walking. Its also perfect for those days where you just want something soothing and relaxing. This foot mask is the perfect way to relax and chill after a busy day on your feet. The lavender scent is of course very calming and relaxing in its self. You pop these little boots on, massage slightly, rest up for 15 minutes whilst they work their magic. For $5, it's a little slice of heaven as they really do work. They leave your feet feeling moisturised and kind of refreshed. I love these so much that I think I might have to make them a weekly ritual.

Do you like any masks from Sephora's own line?

Kat Von D Liquid Lipstick

Kat Von D Liquid Lipstick: Outlaw

Hi Lovelies!

I've been enjoying the Kat Von D makeup line a little bit too much lately. So of course there's been another addition to my makeup collection. As it's summer I've been opting for a brighter lip, so the Kat Von D Liquid Lipstick in Outlaw has been absolutely perfect to achieve this look. Kat Von D has a whole array of bright shades of these liquid lipsticks and when you visit Sephora they're almost sold out in pretty much every shade.

Kat Von D Liquid Lipstick
However I was lucky enough to snap up this liquid lipstick shade. Outlaw is described as a brick red, but something about this everlasting liquid lipstick just makes my lips perfect. The colour is unreal, it's a gorgeous vibrant red which matches my skin tone perfectly. It's a wow shade that doesn't look over the top but still packs a punch!

Kat Von D Liquid Lipstick

As for the actual wear, these are incredible! As it's a liquid lipstick it applies as a liquid however it dries matte! This is probably the smoothest and most even matte type lipstick I've ever worn and I have a lot of lipsticks! The staying power is so good and you'll be rocking the red lip for hours.

Kat Von D Liquid Lipstick

I am so impressed by the Everlasting liquid lipsticks that I'm going to be having a fair few more visits to swatch some more shades. I'm also an owner to the bright pink Backstage Bambi shade which I can also do a review on if you'd like!

Have you tried these liquid lipsticks or any of the Kat Von D makeup line?

Sephora Summer Picks

Hi Lovelies!

Sorry I haven't posted for a while but there's lots of exciting things to come. One big thing which is on its way is Summer!

I'm definitely a summer and sunshine person. The sun and warm weather always pops a smile on my face. I've had a few splurges in Sephora lately which makes the fact that summer is coming even sweeter.

I'm excited to share with you a few of the purchases I've made recently and can't wait to do some more in depth reviews on them once I've given them a good test.

1. Laura Mercier Face Illuminator powder in Indiscretion

Now if this doesn't scream summer, I don't know what will! This highlighter is so gorgeous for summer. I love that it's a rose gold illuminator. A really gorgeous and unusual highlighter which will look fabulous with a tan too.

2. Anastasia Beverly Hills Artist Palette

I was so excited to snap up this palette. I've been feeling a bit more adventurous with my eyeshadow choices lately, so couldn't wait to test some more unusual shades out. I never thought in a million years that I would wear orange eyeshadow! However surprisingly it works! The shadows themselves are so easy to apply and blend. I can't wait to share some looks from this palette with you all soon.

3. Guerlain Meteorites Baby Glow

The packaging itself screams summer. It's nice to opt for something a little lighter on the skin in summer and this is great. You can use this as a glowing primer underneath or even wear this alone. At the moment, I am using this below my foundation but I'm aiming just to wear this alone. It leaves your skin feeling so soft and smooth, healthy and glowy all at the same time. I'm obsessed with this baby glow and just adore its scent too! This definitely has a big thumbs up.

I hope you've enjoyed a few sneak peaks at my Sephora purchases.

What have you been loving lately?

Josie Maran Argan Creamy Concealer Crayon

Happy Wednesday!

If you're already looking tired because you've hit that midweek slump this concealer will definitely help you out!
Whilst I was out shopping last week of course I happened to wander into Sephora! As my NARS radiant creamy concealer is almost about to run out I was on the hunt for a new concealer. Even though I will most likely repurchase this concealer I felt like expanding my concealer collection (because a girl can never have enough makeup!)

Josie Maran Argan Creamy Concealer Crayon

I was drawn to this lovely Argan creamy concealer crayon from Josie Maran. It's obviously shaped like a crayon  and you literally just draw it on!

It's so easy to apply and it blends perfectly because it's so creamy and smooth. Like all of her other products it contains Argan oil which makes it feel so luxurious. I wasn't too sure how great the coverage would be but it is amazing! It covers and conceals without looking cakey at all. This is definitely my secret little weapon as it is so hydrating at the same time. So it's perfect if you have dry skin like me!
I would really recommend it and if you're after a new concealer be sure to check this beauty out!

What's your favourite concealer?

Sephora Spree!

Hello Lovelies!

Happy Friday, I hope you've got some plans for a fab weekend! I've been pretty busy lately but of course I've found some time to do a bit of Sephora shopping!

I thought I'd share with you a few of my purchases and I'll give more of an in depth review in the future!

1. Hourglass Modernist Eyeshadow palette in Obscura.
This is so beautiful and as soon as I knew more colours were being released from the original Infinity one I had to jump on board. The only problem was which palette colour to choose, it was one of the hardest decisions of my life!!!! I opted for Obscura, it has some gorgeous earthy tones. I loved the look of Monochrome too but I reckon it's pretty similar to the Naked 3 palette, however I'm sure it'll end up finding itself a new home with me in the future.

2. Glamglow Thirstycleanse Cleanser.

I'm a top fan of the Glamglow Thirstymud mask so I needed this cleanser in my life. So far this is the best cleanser I've ever used. My skin feels so clear, clean and healthy. I use it with my Foreo Luna, and the mud which turns into foam formula is so unique. I'm in love with it already.

3. Alterna Caviar Transformation Kit

I'm trying to get my hair in tip top condition, it's quite dry and prone to breaking so I saw this set and thought why not! This set includes a mini shampoo, conditioner, moisture working hair spray and overnight hair rescue.

4. Little VIB Rouge NARS Birthday Gift!

Even though my birthday isn't for a few more days, I keep receiving birthday gifts from Sephora. I have 3 of these so far, I'm not really sure why I keep receiving them but I'm not complaining! It contains 2 mini lip pencils in Cruella and Rikugien as well as a mini eyeliner. I'm definitely stocked up for a while!

I cannot wait to give all these products a real go but they all seem incredible so far!

Have you tried any of these or what have you been splurging on this month?

Sephora VIB Rouge event/ Holiday Soiree

Happy Thursday Lovelies!

I thought I'd share with you a very exciting event which I attended last night. As I have a quite the shopaholic streak, I hit VIB Rouge level at Sephora quite a few weeks ago. Although it probably means I have no control over my plastic card and spend too much time and money in Sephora, I was extremely happy at unlocking this next level and seeing the perks it had in store for me!

Sephora VIB Rouge Event

And it literally did have perks in store. I was invited to a special VIB Rouge Holiday Soiree evening, because it's the start of holiday sale season. I RSVP straight away, and printed my 20% off coupon. I was also entitled to take a friend and my friend would also receive 20% off too. This discount applies from November 6th-November 10th, so if you missed the event, there's still time to get some bargains! However I have now banned myself from walking near or shopping Sephora online, as over the past month I am surprised I haven't left my blanket and pillow there!

I hit Sephora at 7pm for the start of the event, and a lady with a clip board confirmed us, we then went in for a little explanation of the event and picked up our name badges! Then the shopping commenced! 20% off everything and a store full of treats was never going to end with goods left on the shelves!

Did I really need any more makeup or skincare? NO
Did I buy makeup and skincare? OF COURSE
and also some perfume just to spice things up.

There were lots of staff on hand with special stations designated for doing your eyebrows, lips and general makeup etc. As ever the Sephora staff were extremely helpful. That's what I love about Sephora, they know their stuff and they're passionate about the things you love/will love too.

I browsed the store, topped up my little basket, debated over certain products, walked around and picked up those products which I was debating over.

There was also a treat table, which had drinks, godiva chocolates and cookies! Makeup, cookies and chocolates is there any better combination?

Sephora VIB Rouge Event

So after all my shopping had finished, I hit the cashier and she totalled me up, and discounted the goods! 20% is just too good a deal to pass up on! I even picked up a Chanel perfume for my mum, because Chanel rarely discounts like this.
What's best is that I still got points, perks and prizes!

The freebie of the night came in the form of a black Sephora bag and a cute little Shashi bracelet. Also as I bought something from Anastasia, she threw in a little treat for good measure. I never usually redeem my points and as they were totalling around the 1500 mark, I decided to pick up a perk. The 500 points gift was mainly Smashbox and I'm really not that much of a fan of Smashbox, so I settled for the 250 point perk and picked up a cute little Tory Burch perfume! The orange packaging fuelled my mini obsession!

I will be doing more in depth reviews of the things I've recently bought in Sephora but for now this is a little peek at the products I picked up last night!

Sephora VIB Rouge Event

Hope you enjoyed this little peek, I would love to know what's on your Sephora list or treat list in general?

If you are after anything from Sephora I would really recommend the Bite Lip Pencil Holiday Tin which I picked up a few weeks ago! It really is such a cute gift, and I can never resist anything mini or anything lipstick!

Have a great day!

New loves (found by being forgetful!)

Happy Tuesday Lovelies!

I hope you've got a fun filled week ahead.

I've been out in Portugal for the last few weeks having a great time. During my time here, I've realised I've left a few essentials behind and I've had to make a few purchases to replace them!

One main belonging which I stupidly forgot was my sunglasses. As it's pretty sunny everyday, they're kind of essential!

So due to my ditziness, I actually had a purpose to go shopping! (my internal shopaholic was extremely happy!).

Of course I ended up buying a lot more, but I thought I'd share with you a few of my replacements.

First up is these sunglasses from Zara. I just wanted a pair to tide me over for this trip, so I felt these quirky ones were pretty great. I have quite a small face, and can easily get swamped by big frames so these definitely do the trick (even though they're still slightly on the large side for me!)

They even came with a lovely case (perfect for us clumsy ones too!)

Horror also struck when I realised I forgot my concealer. I decided to branch out of my concealer comfort zone and try a new one. So here is the Kiko Skin Evolution Concealer.
At €5.90, I thought it was reasonably priced. It gives great coverage, feels light when applied and leaves a natural finish and actually feels quite nourishing. I'm seriously impressed by it!

Lastly I forgot some nail care bits. So I picked up these nail files in Sephora. As they're bright orange, I knew they would be harder to lose (forgetful friendly!). I haven't used these yet, but I'm sure they'll live up to Sephora's top standard.

Have you found any new loves whilst being forgetful?

Sephora Kiss Me Balm in Strawberry Fizz

Hello Lovelies!

Today I have a special mid week treat for you! I've been after one of these little gems since I saw them on the Sephora website! I knew it had to join my ever growing makeup collection.

This is the Sephora kiss me balm in the Strawberry Fizz flavour. Its cuteness totally blew me away! As an addict to the eos lip balms, I definitely had high expectations for this balm.
This kiss me balm claims to add moisture to your lips for 4 hours due to its lovely creaminess. Plus as I chose the strawberry shade, this balm adds a pop of strawberry colour and flavour! Mmm

This balm is amazing! It's so hydrating and the colour it adds is surprising. It adds a real burst of pink, which means you could just use this in place of lipstick. I must admit I thought it may be one of those balms which once applied would last for a tiny bit and then disappear, but I actually think that this balm tops the eos balms. As I own and love basically the whole eos collection, that's a pretty strong statement to make!

I fear that I've developed a little addiction to these egg shaped kiss me balms, now excuse me while I have to storm to Sephora and buy every shade! Uh oh!

Have you tried these kiss me balms?

Formula X Nail Polish in Astronomical

Morning Lovelies!

Today I thought I'd show you what I'm currently wearing on my nails. It's this little nude beauty from Formula X for Sephora. As the name kind of suggests it's from Sephora. I was drawn to this colour a few months ago, because I thought it looked so cute. Usually with nude nail polishes I find you have to be pretty careful as some can turn pretty sheer once applied.

This is in the shade Astronomical which comes under the neutrals. It's described as a honeycomb nude by Sephora and that's exactly how it comes out on the nail too.

From literally so many colours to choose from made by Formula X, there's one for everyone!

The formula of this polish is amazing! I highly recommend it, it feels almost gel like and dries so smooth and like you've applied a top coat, when in fact you haven't.

The polish lasts a long time chip free on the nails too. This is the result with just two coats.

I think this may be my favourite nude polish yet. The colour feels fresh, light and classy.

I am so impressed by this formula that I'm definitely lusting over evey other nail polish made by Formula X. Considering there are so many, that may take a long long time!!!!

Have you tried any Formula X nail polishes?

Sephora Luster Matte Long-Wear Lip Color

Hello Beauties!

As we all know I'm addicted to lipsticks/glosses/balms! Any lip product and I'm away with the lip lover fairies!

So I thought I'd let you in on what I'm currently loving to wear on my lips!
It's the Sephora Luster Matte Long-Wear Lip Color in the shade Petal!
This shade is new, and I'm sooo glad I found it because this lip colour is way up there!

I can't usually say I'm the biggest fan of matte lipsticks because I find they tend to be quite drying and so I normally opt for the more creamier products, but then you take the consequence that they're not usually so long lasting.

This Sephora product is a super product I swear! It's really light and feels moisturising whilst providing that wow colour with a little lasting sheen. Also I'm so impressed that it doesn't budge, it's incredibly long lasting which means there's no need for reapplication. The only thing I regret is that I don't own the whole colour range!

If you're looking for a long lasting, nourishing and beautiful colour, this lip product will seriously take you to lip heaven. Definitely worth the $16 price tag!

Have you tried these Luster Matte Lip Colors?

My hearts 2

Happy Bank Holiday Lovelies!

Hope you have some great plans for the weekend and that the sunshine's on your side!

This week I thought as I enjoyed the last photo type post I did, that it was time for a second round of 'my hearts'.
So here are some of the things I've been loving this last week!

Top left: possibly one of the most amazing candles I've come across! Cinnamon Sugared Doughnut! It smells heavenly, and I managed to snap this up from Bath and Body Works on a day when it was on special offer! So it only set me back $5! $5 for a little scent of heaven, total bargain!

Top Right: only one little bag of many! I had a few trips to Sephora, I'll be doing a few posts in the future showing you what's inside. Stay tuned!

Bottom right: if you saw my photo post from my previous hearts, you'll know it contains jelly beans! I love jelly beans, so Im fuelling my obsession with Mike and Ike's this week! I like to think they're my little beans of revision fuel! Tropical Typhoon makes me feel like I'm far far away on a tropical vacation! Aaaaah!

Left Right: my new baby! It's a Tom Ford lipstick in the shade Nude Vanille. I'm just obsessed. I love everything about it, and I think it needs a few more TF lipstick pals!

Hope you've enjoyed my hearts this week!

What are you loving?

Summer skin! Sephora style

Hello on this sunny sunday!  I hope that this weather is getting you super super excited for summer! (It is for me!) YAY SUNSHINE!

And we all know what that means?

Yes, summer skin!

Now I have a few little beauties to help achieve that super silky smooth and soft skin we all want for some spring and summer fun!

Welcome Sephora Chocolate Mositurizing Body Lotion and Sephora Chocolate Creamy Body Wash!

Now Sephora, when I bought this pair sold a wide rainbow of different colour and flavoured body products just like these! But I was drawn in by the beautiful chocolatey scent of these and I also wanted to see how they matched up in comparison to Palmers famous cocoa butter!

Well first off the body lotion is a lot thinner and absorbs a lot quicker than Palmers does! It's possibly not as moisturizing as Palmers, but it certainly does the trick! The creamy body wash is definitely creamy and foamy! What's best is that they both smell divine! You can definitely walk around smelling like a chocolate scented goddess!

These would make great gifts as Sephora also sell other products in their own bath and body range and they wrap them up really pretty! If not a treat for yourself is definitely a must!! Haha there's nothing better than having super soft summer baby skin!

What are your favourite bath and body products?

Hello Yellow

Ok so when life gives you lemons, they say make lemonade!
But when life gives you knotted hair, a tangled mess and frizz all over the place! Lemonade just doesn't cut it!
But I'll tell you what does! A YELLOW HAIRBRUSH!

I got so excited when I saw this hairbrush, I'd been searching for a hairbrush with the WOW factor and one that actually does what it claims to do. Don't get me wrong I do love my tangle teezers but I find they actually hurt!
Then I came across drybar's Lemon Drop Daily Detangler. I got this beauty from sephora and I must admit I was drawn to it by its packaging and the fact that I thought it was actually reasonably priced made me even happier!

So when I tried it I was so impressed!
It's bristles are really soft and they don't aggravate your scalp or hurt it in any form. It's a really lightweight brush so no achy arms which is especially great when you've gotta hold the hair dryer too! This yellow beauty can be used on hair extensions or clip in ones and can be used on both dry and wet hear. What's more is that It actually does untangle your hair really well and it doesn't hurt! Yay
It's my new favourite, can you tell?

It's definitely a hairbrush that's not just a pretty face because it ticks all the boxes, so jump on the yellow hairbrush bandwagon because I've never met anyone who has a full on yellow hairbrush!

What are your hairbrush angels?
