MAC Pink Lipstick

MAC Pink Lipstick

Happy Weekend Lovelies!

Today I thought I'd share with you 4 Pink MAC lipsticks from my collection which I picked out at random. I always end up wearing the same shades, so I thought I'd mix it up by reaching for a few different shades. Each of these is a MAC Pink lipstick, but obviously they're completely different shades of pink.

MAC Pink Lipstick

1.The first pink lipstick is Pervette. This shade is a glaze lipstick so it applies very subtly and leaves a beautiful glow and sheen to your lips. I have already written a full review on this shade

2. The second MAC Pink lipstick is in the shade Pink Plaid. I'm sure you've all heard of this pretty pink shade, it's a matte formula and is one of the most gorgeous shades of pink. It is quite toned down, with blue/purple undertones and delivers such a beautiful shade once applied. As for the finish, it is a bit drying but nothing that priming your lips can't sort out. It still applies relatively creamy and easily.

3. The third MAC Pink lipstick is Feed the Senses. Now this shade in my eyes is never really talked about, but look how beautiful it is. It's a great lustre choice for everyday, for some more information on this beauty, I have a review on it.

4. Last but not least is the shade Please Me. Please Me is a medium shaded pink lipstick. It's another matte shade and does add more colour to your lips than Pink Plaid mentioned above. The coverage of this lipstick is great and it lasts a long time on your lips. Please me certainly pleases!

Kat Von D Lovecraft Studded Lipstick

Happy Wednesday Lovelies!

Today I thought I'd share with you a lipstick beauty. This lipstick is the Kat Von D one in shade Lovecraft. Something about this shade stood out to me as I was swatching away in Sephora. It's described as a matte mauve pink nude and is quite an unusual shade because it's a lovely pink that has such a gorgeous purple undertone. Even though it's a matte finish, I found it incredibly creamy. This studded kiss lipstick doesn't stick to any lip cracks at all and is actually very moisturising. The whole lipstick range is infused with Vitamin A, C and E, so what's better than a lipstick that delivers a vitamin hit too!

Overall I love that this shade can be worn everyday as it's so natural. I'll definitely be purchasing more Kat Von D lipsticks, so if you have any recommendations I would love to know?

Have you tried any of these lipsticks before?

Too Faced Sweethearts Something About Berry Blush

Happy Thursday Beauties!

Today I'm spreading some love for the Too Faced Sweethearts blush! I literally heart this blush so much. Anything in the shape of a heart really is a winner!

Too Faced Sweethearts Something About Berry Blush

This Sweethearts blush is in the shade 'Something About Berry'. A beautiful trio of pretty berry shades which are a mix of pink and purple tones. I opted for the darkest shade blush in the Too Faced range as I wanted a blush which would be more visible especially to wear this spring and summer. I instantly knew that this blush would match some of my favourite pink MAC lipsticks, Lickable and Milan Mode!

As for the blush itself, I absolutely adore the packaging and the colour of these shades. Even though I'm one of those people who hates mixing and ruining beautiful products, I feel that the combination when you mix these three shades is perfection!

I really like the way that this blush applies, it goes on so smoothly especially now as I've started to wear more of a matte finish base. The blush lasts a long time on me and delivers the perfect amount of shimmer. I'm so so happy with my new little blush heart!

Have you tried this Too Faced blush or their other shades?

MAC Feed the Senses Lipstick

Happy Little Friday!

Today I have a brand spanking new lipstick to share some hearts about! Because I'm a lipstick addict and a MAC lipstick addict, I'm being true to my obsession and showing you a MAC lipstick! It's in the shade Feed the Senses! And does its pink/nudeness feed my senses? Yes it sure does!

MAC Feed the Senses lipstick

Now this particular shade is from the Lustre range, which means it can be a little sheer once applied. It's a pretty pink toned lipstick with purple/mauve tones peeping through! Once applied it's a dream if you're after a gorgeous subtle nude. It's not overpowering and therefore is an incredibly subtle shade for everyday lipstick wearing! As it's a lustre I find that the staying power of the lipstick doesn't last so long, only about 2-3 hours. However that doesn't really put me off this shade, because it's so pretty and ticks all the other boxes which many nude lipsticks fail to deliver. It's been added to my line of favourite everyday lipsticks! (which gets longer and longer by the day!)

Chanel Le Vernis Nail Colour 521 Rose Cache

Good Morning Beauties!

Today I want to wow you with one of the most prettiest nail polishes ever! It's my all new firm favourite, and it's the perfect shade to rock all year!

Chanel Le Vernis Nail Colour 521 Rose Cache

Now I was particularly drawn to this Chanel Nail Colour when I saw it, probably because it was pink and I'm a girl! But it's such a beautiful shade of pink. It's called Rose Cache and it's shade number 521. It's more of a duskier pink which I would describe as a mixture of nude and rose pink.

I applied two coats of this polish, and whilst it's sheer to some extent, two coats definitely covers and does the trick. Two coats left me with beautifully covered nails and a lovely smooth finish.

Chanel Le Vernis Nail Colour 521 Rose Cache

I know this product may not look the most unusual or unique colour but I've never found a nail polish which can offer that perfect natural/neutral/pink combination. I think that's what would make it a perfect nail colour for so many occasions, whether it be a work nail, night out nail, shopping day nail or even a wedding nail.
It's definitely a great long lasting formula, after 4 days on my nails there's been no sign of chipping and that lovely finishing sheen is still there!

After so many years I think I've found my new go to nail! What are your favourite every day nail polishes of all time?

MAC Lickable lipstick

Morning lovelies!

Now for me there is nothing more exciting than cracking open a new lipstick! And when it's summer and sunny outside, my lipstick excitement just explodes through the roof. With many shades becoming more acceptable to wear in the warmer months, I get carried away swatching all the bright pinks, purples and corals.

MAC Lickable lipstick is no exception to my bright lipstick obsession. Lickable is a bright pink but not an 'in your face' bright pink. This is probably because the blue/purple undertones calm it down, so it offers a beautiful fuchsia colour pink when applied onto your lips.

Anything fuchsia coloured I absolutely love, probably because it reminds me of when I was a child and I was obsessed with popping real fuchsia buds! Did anyone else do this or was I the only fuchsia popper?

Anyway if you're not drawn to lickable because of the colour, I'm sure you'll be drawn to its name! Quirky names are definitely part of the attraction!
Lickable is part of the Cremesheen range. Cremesheens literally save my lips! Always offering great colour and moisture at the same time!

Lickable is no exception to this, the burst of pink lasts a long time on your lips and feels so lovely and smooth. This colour is perfect when you have an understated makeup look but want to add that splash of colour. As I'm paler and have blonde hair, some bright lipsticks can really drain your complexion but Lickable does the opposite. It wakes up my natural makeup look and has me ready for whatever the summery day entails.

Have you tried Lickable? or do you have a perfect summer lipstick?

Tom Ford Indiscretion

Hello lovelies!

I haven't done a nail post for quite a while! So guess what's coming up? A nail post!

There are so many pretty colours and nail polish brands out there at the moment which makes it incredibly hard for an indecisive nail polish painter like myself to chose from.

But as it's nearly summer I wanted something bright and cheerful! That's certainly what I got!

It's a Tom Ford nail lacquer in the shade Indiscretion.

There's nothing better than seeing pink on your nails!

The colour is gorgeous, a beautiful pink that's not too shocking but still wows all the same! It's a perfect raspberry pink for summer!

I find the Tom Ford nail polishes really easy to apply, definitely a lovely texture and after just two coats it dries really smoothly, leaving a very subtle shine!
It's a pretty long lasting polish too and luckily it doesn't chip easily! The bottle and packaging just looks so classy and elegant!

All in all this is a pretty impressive polish for achieving gorgeous summer nails, but at £26 it's definitely a little treat! But then again summer does only come once a year!

Have you tried any Tom Ford Nail polishes?

Eos Berry Blossom Hand Lotion

Hi Beauties!

I hope you're having a lovely weekend!

Now as I'm an eos (evolution of smooth) lip balm lover, I see it as a little sphere of lip goodness, I just couldn't resist testing out their hand lotion too! Especially when I saw it for $1.99 in Target. I thought what a beauty bargain!

I just absolutely love the packaging of all these products and the hand lotion is equally as cute and handy to pop in your handbag!
As I've been travelling a lot lately and venturing to warmer weather, my poor little hands have been a bit neglected, so I put the eos hand lotion to the test.

This pink pocket rocket is in the berry blossom flavour and is said to provide 24 hour moisture and be fast absorbing.

Verdict is that this eos is beautiful, it really does work pretty fast and is not greasy at all. As it absorbs so quickly you think you need a bit more, but in my opinion you don't. A little actually works and after a while your hands feel super soft and smooth. The scent is just gorgeous. A subtle berry floral scent which feels light and fresh. This hand lotion is perfect to pop in your bag, and to take out on the go. To always keep your hands in a beautiful tip top condition!

Cheek Stamp Blush

So the blushes I've reviewed in the past have been amazing but pretty normal in terms of how they come! However this little blush is certainty not a usual one you would find hanging around on the shelves in many stores!

It's a Cheek Stamp Blush by Seventeen! Unusual huh?
You just stamp it onto the apples of your cheeks so you're left with round blobs on your cheeks! (Like a clown!) but then you just blend it and as if by magic, you're blushing naturally!

These come in 5 different colours but I picked Blushin! A very light pastel pink colour. After stamping myself to death in Boots whilst choosing which shade to get I decided on this one because it was the lightest and I was a bit worried of having coloured circles on my face! I don't really think there was much to fear as it blends down very well for a natural flush of blush, plus it's super soft!

Here's it swatched on the back of my hand!

To get started you unscrew the lid, and you're presented with a beautiful white stamp! Don't push it up and down like me waiting for the blush to come out! Because it won't! The colour is actually in the lid! So take the plastic off, push your stamp in the lid, and then you're ready to get stamping! This blush lasts on your cheeks a pretty long while too and because it's so small it is amazing for taking it out and about on your daily journeys! Just perfect for those moments when you really need to stamp some colour back onto your face! At £4.99 I think this little beauty is worth it, definitely a kind of product which makes putting blush on super exciting!

Have you tried this, or an unusual type of blush?

Valentine's Day! Love Lips! (Literally!)

Happy Valentines Day Lovelies!

Now this Valentine's day, instead of showing you my favourite red lipstick, I have decided to show you an usual lip product! And unusual being the correct word!
Say hello to Bella by Violent Lips!

Yes this is a temporary lip tattoo! Now I wouldn't really go out wearing this but I thought I'd have some Valentine's day fun! I didn't really have high hopes for it as usually these kind of products are gimmicky ones! But I'm really surprised that this actually works! You cut the stencils to fit your lips, stick it to your lips, dab the paper back with a little water and then voila it's done! So peel it off and it's stuck! Sure there are some little flappy bits on the side but on the whole it actually works! Haha

Here are my Love lips!

So sure if you want some cheesy random fun! Pick these up!

And here's a little few heart treats to wish you a Happy Valentines Day!

Think Pink

A Salute to my pink army of cleanliness!

For years I've loved these little PocketBac's! The excitement of going into Bath and Body Works and seeing if they have any new flavours! Well this time I decided to THINK PINK and went all out in pink style! I even managed to pick a few pink newbies to complete my 5! Pink Vanilla Macaroon, Sugar Berry Shortcake and Cotton Candy Bliss! Mmm
What's best is that these antibacs smell great, save you from any sticky hand situations and fit perfectly in your handbag!
So I salute these saviours for keeping my little 'pinkies' clean and germ free!

Are you a hand gel fanatic? Which ones can you recommend? Some brands really dry my hands out, so I'd love to know your top ones!

Shimmer Brick Saturday!

Well hello there Shimmer Brick Saturday! Gone are the days of Saturday night disco, now it's time for some real sophisticated shimmer. That's where my magic beauty steps in.

Bobbi Brown's Shimmer Brick compact in Wild Rose. This little compact of shimmering goodness adds a lovely glow to your cheeks and eyelids. As we open it in all it's glory, there are 5 lovely pink shades to reveal. They vary from rosy light pinks to dark peachy pink tones. They're so beautiful and soft with just the right amount of glitter to give that natural shine when the light catches them. Definitely a product which ticks the highlight, shimmer and glow boxes. This little box is great because these shimmers can also be used as eye shadows. I just love wearing pink eye shadows at the moment and these ones especially add some warmth through their tones but still enable you to have a really fresh natural make up look because they definitely don't look overdone. You can build with these shades by finding your perfect depth.

For an all over glow just use a big brush to add a soft all over shimmer or pop some of the lighter rosy shade on the tops of your cheeks for a healthy blush.
I'm not just in love with the inside of this box but the gold writing on the front just gives it that classy elegant feel. So even if you do end up in a cheesy Saturday night disco, having this little beaut in your bag will make you feel a million miles away!

Have you tried any of these shimmer bricks in other shades or have a favourite shimmer brick? Do share!

Pastel power!

Alright my pink lovelies!

Today's splash of pink, is in a pastel hue!

Pastel pink is so pretty and so on trend! I just loveheart it so much!
If you're not overly fond of pink, but still want to rock a pinkish look, why not do it with accessories?

A pink ring
A pink bag

Or even if you want to hide the fact you're wearing pink! Maybe some pink socks!

Now Let me tell you a story behind this handbag. I snapped up this handbag candy in a Kate Spade outlet in Palm Desert! This little beauty caught my eye straight away but then someone else picked it up! I literally cried inside because it was the last one on the shelf! So I asked if they had any more, and then they said no! A tear almost fell from my eyes! So instead of leaving the shop I did the 'let me pretend to look at the other bags whilst I'm actually secretly following this lady in the off chance she puts it back!' No luck, she went to the till to pay! I then decided that this handbag mission was over! I was looking at some purses then when by magic at the till she decided she didn't want it and the sales assistant walked over to put it back on the shelf. I flew over and asked if it was available and she said YES and then this beauty landed in my hands! It was mine. I paid and left with the biggest smile!

So sometimes a little persistence (and a little luck) can make your dreams come true!
Have you got any funny stories behind any loved purchases? I really would love to hear them, it really does make you love a product that bit more! I hope I'm not alone, I sound a bit of a frantic shopaholic!

Passion peel off

Aloha lovelies!

Today I decided to have some face mask fun! I'm feeling a bit sluggish this week so I thought let's feel a bit more alive with a peel off, all in time for the weekend!

So today's chosen face mask is the easy peasy Montagne Jeunesse Passion Peel off. It's pomegranate and Passion flower flavour.
This one is pink surprisingly! It's also very transparent on the skin!

It's slightly cooling when you put it on and has a very strong fruity sweet smell.
Slightly too strong for me! But this baby is suitable for both normal and oily skin.

So for 10-15 mins whilst this is working its magic, you can sit back and relax.

And remember the hair band, you don't want sticky hair central like me!

And when the times up you can peel peel peel! But gently, no tugging!
I struggle with this, the edges come off well but I always get the sticky remnants all around my cheeks and nose, so always have a flannel handy!
But on the happy side my skin feels softer and a bit more glowier. I still look a bit sleepy but I'm definitely feeling more alive and refreshed!

So for some cheap face mask fun, these masks are great but in my opinion I think I prefer other flavour's, I love their chocolate ones, they're much easier to wash off!

I would love to hear your recommended flavours, if you've tried any?

Encore Encore!

Well I was going through my makeup stash! And it was like christmas all over again! The feeling of finding those products which you've barely used but you love! One bright beauty that popped out at me, was my e.l.f HD blush.

It's bright indeed!
It's in the colour Encore which is pink. A kind of fuschia and crushed raspberry tone. I think these little blushes were meant to rival the Makeup Forever HD blushes. which are priced considerably more. On the U.K site these e.l.f blushes sell for £3.75 so they don't come with a hefty price tag.

They also sell them in 4 additional colours, but at the time I bought Encore these were all sold out, so Encore it was!
So basically you pump this out, but you only need a tiny bit! A real TINY bit! It is heavily pigmented so the tiniest bit spreads a long long way! This particular shade looks quite bold and fierce at first but rest assured when blended, it changes to a lovely softer glowier colour. As applying this requires a tiny bit I pop it on the back of my hand and then just use my fingers to blend well.

The result is a flawless look! It's great and as you don't need a lot at all, this will last a long long time!

It's definitely a great product for such a reasonable price.

Using this product again has definitely rekindled my love for e.l.f. I find they pretty much always hit the spot.

I've recently just got their HD powder too, so keep your eyes open for a post all about this very soon!
