NARS Audacious Mascara

NARS Audacious Mascara

Hello Lovelies!

So I got extremely excited when I saw that NARS had a new mascara out! NARS is a brand which I find to be consistent in every makeup product I have. I'm always impressed by their products so couldn't wait to try the new NARS Audacious Mascara. It's meant to separate your lashes, lengthen them and add that volume by amplifying them. All in all, a mascara which can do everything.
It's meant to grip to your lashes from root to finish in order to achieve this.

Overall I love this mascara already. My lashes are pretty long and I always have trouble trying to find mascaras which don't clump or go really hard on my lashes. This one doesn't do that, the formula isn't drying on your lashes at all. I find that this audacious mascara really is great at fanning the lashes out. This is the look which I absolutely love from a mascara. As for volume, I find it does boost them slightly but I wouldn't say the amplifying aspect is as great as the lengthening part from this particular mascara.

However, I think it makes your lashes look pretty natural and the colour suits my lashes perfectly as some mascaras can look a bit too black.

It doesn't smudge and it can be removed well by a good eye makeup remover.

If you get a chance to try this mascara, I certainly recommend it. NARS hasn't let me down again!

What's your favourite mascara at the moment?

Tom Ford Extreme Mascara in Raven

Tom Ford Extreme Mascara in Raven

Hey Lovelies!

A little while ago I mentioned that I bought a new mascara. It was quite a special splurge as this mascara is the Tom Ford Extreme mascara in the shade Raven. I'm not going to lie but I had pretty high hopes for this mascara, mainly due to the massive price tag that came with it!

I've wanted to try this Extreme mascara for such a long time, so when my mascara ran out, I was debating which one to purchase next. Before I knew it, my inner shopaholic found me at the Tom Ford counter with a cheeky mascara purchase in hand! Oops!

However I am so impressed and happy with this mascara, it's given my lashes a whole new lease of life. My lashes are pretty long on their own, and I find that some mascaras either don't really make that much difference to them or they just smudge everywhere or clump my lashes together. However this Tom Ford extreme mascara catches every little lash, lifts and adds volume. This mascara doesn't clump on me at all and doesn't smudge.

The brush itself feels quite big in comparison to other mascaras and definitely like you're using a great quality product. This is my new go to product and definitely a mascara which I hate to tell my bank account that I will be purchasing over and over again.

If you feel like you need a little treating, go and test this out!

Have you got a favourite mascara at the moment?

Hearts of the week!

Hello Lovelies!

It's been such a manic week for me. I had to go back to London for 4 days and had a quick visit to New York on my way back. I'm pretty sleep deprived right now but it was all worth it!

I thought I'd share with you some things which I've been loving this week!

crumbs and doilies cake

Top Left: This was a cupcake and cake tower at the party I went back to London for. The top cake was a Neapolitan cake and the cupcakes and mini cupcakes were all different flavours. It took me quite a long time to assemble this tower as my inner colour coordinator made an appearance! They were all from Crumbs and Doilies and I would really recommend them if you're ever after a yummy spectacular cake like this.

Top Right: Balloons! Balloons always put a smile on my face, we released pink, silver and white balloons to the ceiling over the dance floor. I think they look pretty magical!

Bottom Left: I'm always after a different mascara even though I have plenty. My eyelashes are pretty long, so trying to find one that doesn't clump or smudge is a bit tricky. However with this Lancome one it all seems to be going ok so far!

Bottom Right: I couldn't believe it when i saw this Cotton Candy Yankee Candle. It smells so so good! It's sweet and yummy. It makes my house smell like a candy floss machine! Yum!

Well these are a few things I've been loving this week, what have you all been loving?

Blogmas day 15: Exciting things for the week

Hello Lovelies!

I thought I'd share with you a few makeup things which I'm excited about trying this week.

MAC Whirl Lip Pencil

1. L'oreal Voluminous Butterfly Intenza Mascara

I'm quite addicted to the Bourjois Volume 1 Seconde mascara at the moment but I thought I should try a new one, and when I saw this one in the US the shape of it was pretty unusual. The claim that it adds 9x more volume to your lashes is pretty impressive so it's definitely worth a test!

2. MAC Whirl Lip Pencil

I'm a great lover of MAC Lip Pencils, they are definitely the dream team when combined with their lipsticks! I recently snapped up Whirl and I cannot wait to test out this shade to see if it lives up to its' reputation. When paired with MAC Velvet Teddy, I'm sure it'll be an unstoppable force!

3. Chinatown by Lipstick Queen

This little trio was snapped up in Space NK. 3 things in one package from Lipstick Queen, could there be anything better? This set contains 3 chubby lip crayons. The shades include:
Chinatown Chase, Chinatown Pink Bluff and Chinatown Catalina.
I'm super excited to use these petite pencils as they're meant to leave you lips smooth and moisturised too! Perfect for winter.

Well that's three things I'm excited for trying this week, I'll let you know how I get on!

What are you excited about this week?
