True blue!
Happy blues are the best!
So I was going through my nail polish collection and I didn't quite realise how many blues I actually own! So here are 10 blue beauties!
From left to right
1. Splendid: Your fly's down
2. Barry M Gelly Hi-shine: Blueberry
3. Barry M Nail Paint: Cobalt Blue
4. Barry M Nail Paint: Indigo
5. Ciate: Glass Slipper
6. Ciate: Headliner
7. Rimmel 60 Seconds: Too cool to tango
8. Ciate: Power Dressing
9. Revlon: Blue Lagoon
10. No7 Stay Perfect: Stand Back
Beauty mission: find my favourite shade of blue!
As I'm so indecisive at choosing the right colour I've painted each nail a different colour. My indecisiveness is not helped by the fact that there are so many pretty tones of the same colour out there!
So here's my left hand
(L-R nail polishes 1-5)
And the right hand
(L-R 6-10)
I think considering they're all blue, they're all so individual, pretty and unique but I'm going to chose my 3 favourites! ( I can't just pick one, that would be too hard!)
My winners are:
2.Barry M Gelly Hi-shine: Blueberry
This has such a great smooth finish and is a really unusual shade of blue.
7. Rimmel 60 seconds: Too cool to tango
Super sleek finish, pretty pastel and dries in 60 seconds! Great for the inpatient!
3. Barry M Nail Paint: Cobalt Blue
Same smooth finish, no smudging, lovely cobalt blue, not so vibrant as some cobalt shades can be though!
And my poor performer is :
10. No 7 Stay perfect: Stand back
Not so perfect for me! It was so runny, literally like liquid overflowing my nail! In my opinion the colour is ok but just needs an injection of oomph to fit in more of a defined shade category!
Well I hope you enjoyed my blue nail round up, if you've got a favourite blue nail polish I'd love to hear your recommendations!

February fever! Shimmer Saturday!
As it's a new month, I thought what would make February less dull than it sometimes can be? Shimmer!
So as a new month begins it is well and truly shimmer Saturday!
To make this possible, I'll share with you my little shimmering perfections in a tube. Enter e.l.f shimmering facial whips.
These little whips are whiptastic! They illuminate and glow any dullness away leaving you with a brightened complexion.
They have even been compared to Benefit's high beam and as an owner of this product I can really say there is virtually no difference!
And guess what? They're super reasonable, at only £1.50 a tube they're a fraction of the price of their competitors, so you can stock up on different shades.
I was so impressed with my first one 'pink lemonade', that I had to just order 3 more!
Not only can you use them for highlighting, but you can mix them into your foundation for that all over natural glow!
So if you want a little sunshine on a rainy day, these whips are the way forward and they won't even make a dent in your rainy day savings!
Have a shimmering Saturday! Let me know your favourite shimmers?

Hello Yellow
Ok so when life gives you lemons, they say make lemonade!
But when life gives you knotted hair, a tangled mess and frizz all over the place! Lemonade just doesn't cut it!
But I'll tell you what does! A YELLOW HAIRBRUSH!
I got so excited when I saw this hairbrush, I'd been searching for a hairbrush with the WOW factor and one that actually does what it claims to do. Don't get me wrong I do love my tangle teezers but I find they actually hurt!
Then I came across drybar's Lemon Drop Daily Detangler. I got this beauty from sephora and I must admit I was drawn to it by its packaging and the fact that I thought it was actually reasonably priced made me even happier!
So when I tried it I was so impressed!
It's bristles are really soft and they don't aggravate your scalp or hurt it in any form. It's a really lightweight brush so no achy arms which is especially great when you've gotta hold the hair dryer too! This yellow beauty can be used on hair extensions or clip in ones and can be used on both dry and wet hear. What's more is that It actually does untangle your hair really well and it doesn't hurt! Yay
It's my new favourite, can you tell?
It's definitely a hairbrush that's not just a pretty face because it ticks all the boxes, so jump on the yellow hairbrush bandwagon because I've never met anyone who has a full on yellow hairbrush!
What are your hairbrush angels?

The Liebster Award
The Liebster Award
Hello lovelies! I've been very lucky to have been nominated twice for the Liebster award by the lovely
So thank you Annie and Chelsea for nominating me, it made me smile when I saw it.
Anyway the Liebster award is an award that goes around smaller blogs where you answer 11 questions from the person who nominated you, and so we can all get to know each other a bit better!

There are some rules for the Liebster award and these are:
1. You must link the blog who nominated you
2. Nominate 11 blogs who have less than 200 followers
3. Answer the 11 questions you were given

Well lipstickloveheart was born because I LOVE lipsticks and I LOVE hearts and I LOVE loveheart's (the sweeties). So I thought they looked quite sweet together!
2. Do you prefer high end or low end makeup brands?
I probably do prefer higher end makeup brands because I often find the quality is better and they tend to last a bit longer. But some lower end brands definitely give them a run for their money. I can't really fault ELF!
3. Who is your girl makeup crush?
Tricky! But I would have to say Blake Lively, her makeup is always flawless!
4. What is your favourite tv programme?

6. If you could move to anywhere in the world, where would it be?
LA hands down, I'm addicted to the place.
7. If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Probably jelly beans. I have a bit of a sweet tooth!
8. Have you ever broken a bone?
Oh yes! I've broken my nose twice! I'm a bit accident prone with my nose!
9. If you won the lottery what would be the first thing you'd buy?
A massive house by the beach with the biggest walk in closet EVER! Dream!
10. What was your first word?
It was booga (bottle apparently!)
11. Are you a cat or dog person?
As much as I love little puppies. I'm a cat person as I have 2 black and white fluffballs!
And here are the 11 questions which I'm asking:
