Aussie Miracle Dry Shampoo Aussome Volume

Well Hello there!

Today is all about hair. I'm a bit of a hair fanatic, and my second home could easily be described as the hair salon. So when I see new hair products to test out, I definitely can't wait!

Today is the Aussie Miracle Dry Shampoo, Aussome Volume. It aims to give you a big-time root-lift. Pretty big claims for a dry shampoo so I got pretty excited because who doesn't love a bit of volume!

Aussie Miracle Dry Shampoo Aussome Volume

I must admit I absolutely love the shampoo and conditioner ranges from Aussie hair care. Whenever I walk past them I can't resist having a little sniff. I think it's because I can always smell a kind of bubblegum scent! Anyone else feel this?

This dry shampoo though smells more floral, it's not too overpowering like some of its dry shampoo competitors from Batiste therefore its freshness makes it the perfect scent for a dry shampoo.

Overall it's pretty good, It does add a little extra volume and once sprayed feels pretty light. This is great because it means no chalky white bits floating in your hair and it's not sticky like some dry shampoos can be, so that's always a huge thumbs up. The annoying thing though is I think mine had a dodgy spray mechanism, because the next time I went to use it more than half of it had leaked and exploded in the safety cap. So beware and avoid the ones with dodgy spray pumps!

I think I'd like to try one of the other dry shampoos from their range, like the one aimed for coloured hair, because my hair is nearing the time to be coloured again!

Have you tried any Aussie dry shampoos?

Bargain Box: Monday Bargain Number 2

So as it's Monday again! That means the bargain box is back!

Wondering what's in it today? It's time for a lucky dip!

Here's my pick, now let's unwrap!

It's Timotei Pure Dry Shampoo

Instead of picking up the usual Batiste dry shampoo, I thought it was time for a change!

So how does it compare?

Well with Timotei dry shampoo, you have to spray your roots and then leave alone for 2 minutes and then brush out!
And the verdict?
Hmm to be honest I'm not quite sure how much of a difference this really made, it did feel quite nice in the beginning, quite fresh, but my hair still felt a bit dead and not really that clean and alive!
It's price made it a bargain though! At 50% off and a grand total of only £1.74, it does save you a little bit of money in comparison to other products like Batiste. So If you want to purchase a dry shampoo that is free from paraben and silicone and want one that doesn't leave any residue or powder in your hair, then this may help! But personally I think it would be better to save up your pennies and buy a more expensive dry shampoo!

What's your favourite dry shampoo?
