Happy Thursday Lovelies!
I thought I'd share with you a very exciting event which I attended last night. As I have a quite the shopaholic streak, I hit VIB Rouge level at Sephora quite a few weeks ago. Although it probably means I have no control over my plastic card and spend too much time and money in Sephora, I was extremely happy at unlocking this next level and seeing the perks it had in store for me!
And it literally did have perks in store. I was invited to a special VIB Rouge Holiday Soiree evening, because it's the start of holiday sale season. I RSVP straight away, and printed my 20% off coupon. I was also entitled to take a friend and my friend would also receive 20% off too. This discount applies from November 6th-November 10th, so if you missed the event, there's still time to get some bargains! However I have now banned myself from walking near or shopping Sephora online, as over the past month I am surprised I haven't left my blanket and pillow there!
I hit Sephora at 7pm for the start of the event, and a lady with a clip board confirmed us, we then went in for a little explanation of the event and picked up our name badges! Then the shopping commenced! 20% off everything and a store full of treats was never going to end with goods left on the shelves!
Did I really need any more makeup or skincare? NO
Did I buy makeup and skincare? OF COURSE
and also some perfume just to spice things up.
There were lots of staff on hand with special stations designated for doing your eyebrows, lips and general makeup etc. As ever the Sephora staff were extremely helpful. That's what I love about Sephora, they know their stuff and they're passionate about the things you love/will love too.
I browsed the store, topped up my little basket, debated over certain products, walked around and picked up those products which I was debating over.
There was also a treat table, which had drinks, godiva chocolates and cookies! Makeup, cookies and chocolates is there any better combination?
So after all my shopping had finished, I hit the cashier and she totalled me up, and discounted the goods! 20% is just too good a deal to pass up on! I even picked up a Chanel perfume for my mum, because Chanel rarely discounts like this.
What's best is that I still got points, perks and prizes!
The freebie of the night came in the form of a black Sephora bag and a cute little Shashi bracelet. Also as I bought something from Anastasia, she threw in a little treat for good measure. I never usually redeem my points and as they were totalling around the 1500 mark, I decided to pick up a perk. The 500 points gift was mainly Smashbox and I'm really not that much of a fan of Smashbox, so I settled for the 250 point perk and picked up a cute little Tory Burch perfume! The orange packaging fuelled my mini obsession!
I will be doing more in depth reviews of the things I've recently bought in Sephora but for now this is a little peek at the products I picked up last night!
Hope you enjoyed this little peek, I would love to know what's on your Sephora list or treat list in general?
If you are after anything from Sephora I would really recommend the Bite Lip Pencil Holiday Tin which I picked up a few weeks ago! It really is such a cute gift, and I can never resist anything mini or anything lipstick!
Have a great day!

Happy Sunday Beauties!
Today I wanted to set myself a challenge, and this was to create a makeup look using a budget of just $20. I headed off to see how much makeup I could get to achieve this. I found quite a few beauty bargains along the way.
After I returned, the makeup fun begun! I decided on an everyday look and I was actually impressed by the quality of my products. So here's the result:
Here's a list of the products which I used:
Foundation: Loreal True Match Foundation $7.99
Concealer: Maybelline Cover Stick Concealer $4.09
Eyeshadow: e.l.f custom eyeshadow in Pink Ice $0.99 + e.l.f custom eyeshadow in Wheat $0.99
Bronzer : E.L.F Contouring Blush and Bronzing Duo $2.99
Lips: Wet n wild lipstick in Just Peachy $0.99
Mascara: I had bought an e.l.f mascara for $0.99 but blonde me, already lost it before I got home! So I just used a freebie mascara I had lying around!
So the grand total for everything was $19.03!
Overall I am so impressed with the look and the quality of the products. L'oreal true match foundation provides such a great base, the e.l.f contouring duo is so useful as I also used some of the bronzer on my eyelids. The wet n wild lipstick for only $0.99 was such a great find, I love the peachy colour, the creaminess and it appeared to plump my lips!
It just goes to show that sometimes the drugstore products can create great makeup looks at a fraction of the price.
Have you got any drugstore favourites?

Hello Beauties!
When I come across a new beauty love, I just can't wait to share it with you! Today I could literally burst with love for this particular Essie nail polish!
It's the Essie nail polish in the shade 'Don't Sweater it!' Considering it's fall, and sweater weather, it's perfect for this time of year!
The nail polish itself is quite hard to describe, it's a mixture of beautiful colours and tones, there's a bit of grey, brown, mink and purple. This means you're left with a colour combination which will blow your socks off! Or sweaters!
The wear of this polish is great too! I find that you only need 2 layers and if use a good top coat the polish doesn't chip. You're left with a beautiful little shine on your nails, and I think that it could easily pass as a gel nail polish in the looks department!
This is definitely my favourite nail polish for Autumn and Winter, so sorry if you get bored of seeing this on my nails, I just love it too much!
Have you tried this shade before or have a special shade for A/W?

Hello Lovelies!
I hope you've had a good weekend! Today I wanted to do something a bit different, I thought I'd start testing out some different celebrity makeup looks. So I hope that you enjoy them and that you like them too!
Today I chose a natural makeup look inspired by Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. This look is more of a dewy/healthy look with soft gold/pink eyes and nude lips.
For this look I've used a mixture of high end and drugstore products so if you are inspired to try it out, it's a bit easier to! But I'm also going to try my very best to suggest a good dupe/cheaper product if I use a high end one, that'll work as equally well.
The Products
Foundation: MAC Mineralize Moisture Foundation OR L'oreal True Match Foundation (really good similar finish!)
Concealer: KIKO Skin Evolution Concealer
Eyes: Urban Decay Naked Palette + Charlotte Tilbury Champagne Diamonds eyeshadow stick. KIKO sell lots of these sticks so a possible one is golden beige.
Contour: Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow. Sorry can't think of a specific dupe here, if you have one please let me know!
Mascara: Both Bourjois Volume 1 Seconde mascara and KIKO Lengthening Top Coat Mascara
Lipstick: MAC Blankety
Blush: The new Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush Palette, particular shade Champagne Rose. ELF have some great baked blushes which can replicate the look.
The Steps
1. Rosie has a dewy/glowy finish, so I felt that this particular MAC mineralize moisture foundation was good. I have many foundations which can create a dewy look, the L'oreal true match foundation is an amazing drugstore foundation to achieve this!
2. Next I applied the concealer in the areas which I needed it, so my panda eyes, around my nose and my chin. I highly recommend this concealer, it's definitely a concealer which I am so impressed with. Great coverage and great value!
3. For my eyebrows I used the Anastasia brow wiz, my brows have quite an arched shape, but Rosie's are pretty straight, so I used the spooly to brush the first part of my eyebrow upwards and then for the second part of my eyebrow I brushed more downwards. I just filled them in slightly as her brows aren't too dominant in this look, so make your eyebrows as subtle as possible.
4. For the eyes I went in with the Naked palette. The shades which I used were: Virgin, Sin, Half Baked, Smog and Toasted. I also applied the eyeshadow crayon in the shade Champagne diamonds to the inner corner of my eyes.
5. I haven't used any eyeliner in this post, as I wanted to achieve a softer look.
6. I used the Filmstar Bronze and Glow to contour and highlight. Contouring my cheekbones and then highlighting down my nose, slightly under my eyes, forehead in T shape and on my cheekbones.
7. I added some blush on the apples of my cheeks.
8. Mascara came from the Bourjois Volume 1 Seconde mascara, I used this for 1 coat to fan out the lashes, then went in with the KIKO mascara to add some more length, especially concentrating on the outer lashes.
9. Lastly I applied a swipe of MAC Blankety, which is a creamy pink/beige nude lipstick. Perfect for this look.
I hope you enjoyed this post, I certainly had fun trying to copy this look! Let me know your thoughts on this look and whether you enjoy these kind of posts?
Happy Monday!
